A day of R&R on the road

Sunday 9/2
Beautiful "checkerboard" mountain on the road out of Zion
We are on our way to a "normal" campsite at Jacob "Lake" (the lake is smaller than our living room at home, hence the " ") with all manner of luxuries---electrical hookups, private sewer line, good water pressure.  And they have a laundry facility!  I am very, very excited.  But first, the beautiful ride out of Zion.   In short order we were at our high-tech campsite with lots of other RV-ers (no Germans here, just lots of Americans).  I got to do laundry in washing machines for the first time in over a month (I've been doing it by hand, not to worry).  And we watched 4 West Wing episodes (we're into season 3 now) and popped popcorn in the microwave and took HOT showers for more than 60 seconds.  It was just wonderful.
